MLBA WAS ESTABLISHED IN AUGUST 2017

The MLBA was created when teams from the NABL decided to leave the league and the owners formed the MLBA which is dedicated to raising awareness of the sport of basketball throughout North America by providing fans with an exciting and entertaining game-day experience. Teams are based throughout the United States and Canada and in the future, we look to expand to Mexico.

MISSION

The MLBA will enhance minor League Basketball through play, a positive image, and stats. We will focus on promoting players, officials, coaches, and management personnel to a higher level.

GOAL

To create the number one Minor League Basketball program in North America in which all players and officials can build a platform to showcase their skills for the NBA, G League, Overseas Leagues. Scouts and Agents.

The MLBA will strive to build long-lasting relationships in order to better our league and the game of basketball overall. We will do this by using both our buying power and our passion to be the best league in Minor League Basketball.
